Welcome to my website!
I'm Pamela Smith and I'm a professional proofreader and copy-editor based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I work with writers, publishers, organisations and businesses to produce written material that is well presented, grammatically correct and thoroughly screened for errors. It's surprising how much difference a fresh pair of eyes can make. Working with a professional proofreader or editor will help you to express your ideas clearly and give the best impression of yourself and your work; it can also save you time and money, so it's a worthwhile investment. My day job is with Hansard at the Northern Ireland Assembly. As a freelance, I work in a wide variety of non-fiction fields and have particular experience and expertise in music, management, the arts and governance. I'm a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, which means you can expect a high-quality, reliable service. Feel free to email me, get in touch using the contact form, or give me a ring for an informal chat. I look forward to hearing from you! |

'I just want to say thank you so much – your comments and suggestions throughout the PDF are so clear and well considered. I particularly appreciate some of the comments that show how closely you were reading the different sections and also working to fact check and support what the authors are trying to get across.'
